We know what really matters to you

What is terrorism? It was the reason we went into Iraq, wasn’t it? Terror pushed us to defend ourselves in a foreign land. We know it is so wrong that we still somehow justify invading a country that posed no threat to us merely because we feared terrorism. A simple definition of terrorism from wikipedia states:

“Terrorism is “the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion.”^[1] Most common definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for an ideological goal (as opposed to a lone attack), and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants. Some definitions also include acts of unlawful violence and war.”

How offended would you be to know that someone fitting that very description of “using terror as a means of coercion” was currently running for President of the United States? This person wants you to be afraid for his own personal gain, and has no qualms with unlawful violence or war.

If you are not upset after watching this, you either don’t have a pulse or you condone terrorism, because John McCain is a terrorist. He is using fear to get what he wants. His message is clear: only vote for Senator Obama if you want to die, and a political message that is indistinguishable from terrorist threats can only be labelled as such.

More important than how false this ad is, since Obama only said Iran is a small threat compared to a threat from already nuclear armed Russia, is how low McCain has sunk.

People really can change, there is no doubt. John McCain returned from Vietnam years ago having sacrificed more for his country than most do in a lifetime (although he has shamefully used that sacrifice as a sheild from valid questions.)

In recent years, he has become something all Americans should be ashamed of, someone willing to throw anyone or anything under the bus to achieve the power that he so badly wants. He is an embarrassment now, and stands for nothing but small mindedness, ignorance, dishonesty and war.

Senator McCain, you are not fit to hold any leadership in this or any other country. You are becoming a terrorist.
