Republicans run in fear: this little bulb is pure evil. Or do you not have a clue what you're talking about at all?

It’s almost April. It will have been five months since America’s conservative and Republican groups learned that Barack Obama has been elected president of the United States. They’re not over it– I doubt very much that they will be for the next eight years. Democrats never got over Bush, I wouldn’t expect anything from the other team.

There have been several ridiculous acusations against the president  (too much Executive power, socialism, etc…) but there is one thing that is continually brought up that drives me nuts. I hope conservatives everywhere will read this short article and stop sounding like idiots. 

Don’t bring up ACORN anymore. Because you do sound like idiots when you do.

Do you even know what Acorn is? Do you know what they do? It is brought up again and again by conservative pundits and citizens alike as a sort of attack against the president.

ACORN stands for Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. What they do is pay people to register poor people to vote. An ACORN employee goes door to door collecting information from people before the election.

The employees at ACORN are paid by the number of completed forms they bring back in. Some of those employees during the last election thought that they could get paid without doing the work, and brought back forms for Mickey Mouse, Tom Brady, Indiana Jones, etc… They falsified the documents and ACORN caught it. There were approximately 15 cases of employees trying to cheat ACORN.

Fortunately, ACORN had thought this out. They call every person from every form. Unless Mickey Mouse answers, identifies himself as Mickey Mouse, then no voter registration card is distributed.

Just to be clear, ACORN was not responsible for one single case of voter fraud. In fact, they had fraud committed against them by their own employees.

I’m sure this sounds like an evil plot to burn America to the ground by having *gasp* its own citizens vote during an election! Is that why Republicans hate ACORN? They hate democracy?

Grow up. You sound like idiots.
